If you’ve followed me for a while you may have noticed that I paint a lot of watercolor pet portraits. These custom commissions are done from photos of my clients dogs. Typically they send over a picture of their dog and I recreate that image in washes of watercolor. The looseness of the watercolor leaves room for some chance and whimsy. It’s very soothing to work in and the results are easy on the eyes. My hope is that these custom paintings become a prized piece that lives on their walls bringing small doses of joy daily.

Recently I created a collection of popular dogs including a fresh bulldog, dachshund, and corgi. These pups are available as fine art prints on 8x8 textured paper. You can find them in my Etsy shop. They will also be available with custom framing at the adorable boutique, The Porch, in Zeeland.
